The American College, a nonprofit, accredited College in Bryn Mawr, PA is seeking a Chairperson to head The State Farm Center for Women and Financial Services. The Chairperson will function as the Center’s director and chief ambassador in leveraging research and education to create broad awareness of the challenges and opportunities that pertain to women and financial services.

Assistant Director


Sandra Carr

Sandra Carr is the  Assistant Director, State Farm Center for Women & Financial Services. She is also the project manager for the Women’s Leadership Academy Summit. Sandra has an extensive background in communications and non-profit management. She has worked for a radio station, a PBS television station and a newspaper. Most recently, Sandra was the Director of Development for the Sunshine Foundation. As the former Executive Director for the Center for Responsible Funding (CRF), she managed Philadelphia employees’ charitable giving campaign which raised over one million dollars in annual contributions. Sandra has a Master of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Chicago’s Roosevelt University.


Center Administrative Assistant


Christella Louis

Christella is the Administrative Coordinator for the State Farm® Center for Women in Financial Services.  Ms. Louis works directly under the supervision of the director of The Center.  In her position, she oversees and manages all Center procedures and daily tasks.  Ms. Louis earned a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Haverford College.  Her background and passion for cultural studies and data collection analysis will help her when performing analytical research for the advancement of the Women’s Center.
