From financial advisor to wholesaler to National Sales Director, Steve Prew brings 20+ years of financial services experience to his role as VP of Business Development, with The American College of Financial Services.
Steve has a proven history of managing existing relationships, as well as creating new ones to help increase sales and improve overall productivity. At The American College, Steve is responsible for the day-to-day management of 65 of the largest Independent, Bank/Wire and Regional broker dealer relationships. Steve also oversees the development of the Registered Investment Advisor and Family Office opportunities.
Prior to joining The American College, Steve served as National Sales Director for Camelot Portfolios, where he was responsible for recruitment, development and management of a nationwide sales team while communicating the Camelot story.
Steve began his financial services career with MetLife in 1995 following four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Belleau Wood (LHA-3).
Steve earned his Bachelor’s degree in finance and his MBA with a Strategic Management focus from Regis University in Denver.
Steve lives in Highlands Ranch, Colorado, with his wife Katie. He enjoys hunting, camping, fishing cycling and golf. Steve is also active in his community as a volunteer with Junior Achievement, Special Olympics and The Shining Stars Foundation.
